    You can literally just show up and they provide everything to fish including bait! To make it more enjoyable for your family bring chairs/snacks/picnic. We even left to get diff bait and came back. There is lots of educational exhibits with a tram ride and a diver but kids couldn't stop fishing! My youngest liked having his own pole. I would wait until kids were school age but did see quite a few strollers.
